always have trouble deciding what to take, and what to leave at home when I go on a trip.
This is what I'm working with:

Gear List with Notes (FLICKR)

I am going to Sunday River in Maine, and will be shooting in the park; jumps and rails. I will be shooting mostly during the day and possibly at night.

So far I have packed:

D300
D70s
10.5mm
60mm macro
70-200 2.8

2x Lumedyne 065 Pack
2x lumedyne batteries
2 Nikon sb speedlights

4x PW+II's

Sekonic L-358 (Will I actually use this or should I just do it a la Dan Carr and do it by eye/histogram?)

4 lightstands.
Cords and brackets ETC.

Currently I have my body separated from any lens, which means I will be setting up the body with lens on the mountain. Would you guy's advise against this, because of getting snow in the cameras?

Thanks!
Jay Cagney
maybe you're over thinking this, i dont think you need two bodies or a macro lens. light meter is a yes, and 4 flashes at night is fine but might be overkill for daylight
