thanks for the suggestion. i found a used body on bh for $330 and it looks like a good camera just not that new. what lense do you recommed
Andrew. B
Apr 3 2009, 07:29 PM
the reason its better is because it can shoot with flashes at much greater speeds and is known to have unlimited off camera syncs due to an electric shutter cut off.
id suggest the 50mm or the new 35mm dx or if you have a bit of dosh the 80-200 maybe one of those kite 55-200 lens for the mean time if you have to..

so im prob gonna get this d70. will the 35mm be good for shooting like pretty much everything until i get more lenses? and what other lenses do you recomend
Andrew. B

35mm on that body will crop to 51 so it will be abount the same as the human eye, minus depth perception of course..
after that look in the 10.5 fisheye or tokina 10-17 fish/wideangle
or the ƒ/2.8 80-200 zoom.

A d70 was introduced in like 2003 or 2004, they are great cameras. You dont have to buy from b&h, i was just looking at a d70 used for 225 body only.
