Not sick, its 5.6- 6.3

get a 2.8 70-200 for what ever system your on, canon or nikon i guess. with crop factor its like 110 to 300 ish . much better glass, faster and will have a better time working with your body.

also

rank tripod.

Manfrotto 190DX(190XPROB) + 804RC2 head, BEST SHIT EVER

my input before you waste your cash.

buy right or buy twice.

Yeah, that Tamron is a piece of shit. But lets be honest. You're not going to drop $2K on the 70-200 so whats the point of even talking about it.

then pick up the older still just as amazing 80-200. he is american, so his price for nikon gear doesnt get marked up like ours does.

I just picked up a new body and some lenses in Aus for cheaper than what it would of cost me to get in the US and shipped over. The dollar is fucked!

400-500 mms that are good, ie arnt push pull apertures are gonna cost you an arm and a legs, and be up around f8 before there of any decency.

plus, unless your following the surfing tours your not gonna use it.
