i have a Nikon D40 and all my pictures latley seem to have a blueish tint to them. Tried to figure it out and failed
Any Ideas/tips?

Make sure you actually do it off of something white.

yea.. if you've got your white balance set to the auto mode, sunlight mode or indoors snow is gonna turn blue

whitebalance is easily fixed in photoshop tho. hit auto color usually if you have some white in the picture it will whitebalance it correctly. if not then go into color balance and do it yourself

d-40's are nice but you will quickly outgrow it. just save your money and wait till you can buy a canon 40D or a nikon D-300. i have a d40-x and now i need a better camera.

if your trying to find a camera on a limited budget i'd defenitley go for it
