which ones better?

the canon g10 or p6000

before i do tons of research im wondering if you bros can save me some time.

i think the g10 isn't the way to go if you can find a g9, those extra megapixels just bring up more noise, no HD video, no timelapse mode in the g10... the g9 for sure if you're going canon

or panasonic lx3(my personal choice)/leica d lux4 , i'm using a lx2 right now and i love it. take great pictures for a point and shoot. its pretty much a toss up between finding a g9 and lx3 i think.

G9's are pretty hype, i just picked one up a few months ago,

some of the advantages are:
Raw files,
lots of megapixels
hybrid shutter = 1/500+ flash sync
sharp lens

the g10 is sick since it got a built in wideangle lens. but as aaronl said, the lx3 is deff. a good choice, but you go 2.5x of zoom (I don't know whats your needs). But don't pay the extra 250$ to get a v lux 4 over a lx3.
