okay so im new to photography. im lookin for a pretty good used slr for around 300. i was wondering if the canon digital rebel is any good and if its alright to buy a used camera. the one im looking at is

the xt is not a good camera for snowboard photography......it does not have the aperature shutter settings in the view finder. so its going to make it really hard to get your settings right unless you shoot on auto and thats tottaly lame. I have a nikon D-40x and i love it! 10 mp great picture quality. it has RAW format and its lightweight.
